Special Recreation Department Programs:
1. Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Held prior to Easter.
Fall Programs:
1. Youth League Soccer: This is for K-3 children and takes place Sunday afternoons at the Middle School in North Haverhill the months of September and October.
2. Paddle the Border: May and October....The Haverhill Recreation Department assist with and has a table at the landing point.
3. Haunted Happenings: Held in October at the Robert E Clifford Memorial Building (former Woodsville Armory) in Woodsville, NH.
Winter Programs:
1. Senior Adult Stretching: Rec director leads this in the Morrill Gymnasium. There are three morning hourly sessions per week beginning in November going through March.
2. Pre-School Play Group: Rec director leads this class in the Morrill Gymnasium. There are 2 morning hourly sessions per week beginning in November through March.
3. Teen Dances: The Haverhill Recreation Commission organizes and chaperones 4 winter dances beginning Halloween night. These dances are held in the Morrill Building Gymnasium in North Haverhill. (Halloween Dance 2010 will be held at the Robert E Clifford Memorial Building in Woodsville.
4. Christmas Caroling: Rec director organizes this event which begins at the Morrill Building in North Haverhill. All who show up carol house to house up and down Route 10. This event happens before Christmas.
5. Winter Carnival at Mountain Lakes: Held in March at the lodge in Mountain Lakes.
6. Youth Softball in the Gym with Batting Cage: Schedule released in November.
7. Coaches Clinics: Held throughout the winter in the Morrill Building Gymnasium (Schedule TBA).
8. Youth League Basketball: Held Saturday mornings at the Haverhill Cooperative Middle School in North Haverhill. This league begins in January and is for children in grades 1-4.
Summer Programs:
1. H.A.R.P. The Haverhill Area Recreation Program: Held on the Community Field in Woodsville at the A.P. Community Pool. This is a 6 week program beginning the first Monday after July 4. The program is for children in grades 1-6.
2. Band Concerts at Railroad Park in Woodsville: Different area bands play at Railroad Park throughout the summer.
