The Lone Oak Trail is a steep trail  – but if you climb up to the height of land, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views out over Vermont, New Hampshire, and three rivers: the Connecticut, the Wells, and the Ammonoosuc. The farmland and forests traversed by the trail belong to the Lackie Farm. The trailhead is located on Abbot Avenue just north of Woodsville.
