 The following fees apply only to those structures covered by the Life Safety Code:  Multi Unit Dwellings with More Than Two Units, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional buildings, Day Care Facilities and Foster Homes.

 

New Construction and Remodeling valued over $2000.00.  (Life Safety and Fire Codes Inspection To Include:  Electrical,  Building Egress, 911 Identification, Primary Heating System, Primary Fuel Storage, Fireplace – Wood or Coal Stove, Oil Burning Equipment and Storage, Underground Fuel Storage Tanks, Gas Piping and Equipment, Chimney and Flue, Heating Equipment Replacement, Fire Alarm System, Sprinkler System, and Cooking and Exhaust Systems)

 

·         Multi Unit Dwelling with More Than Two Units     $ 75.00/unit                                        _____

Relocating Structures: The fees for relocating structures shall be the same as new structures whether residential, commercial or industrial.

 

 

Any person who fails to obtain a building permit or is in any way in violation of the Building Permit Ordinance, Life Safety Code, or Fire Code shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100.00 per day for each violation as required by RSA 676:17, the Building Permit Ordinance, and all NH Statutory references to the Life Safety and Fire Codes.
